PUBLIC ACCESS TO CITY PLANS

Kansas City’s Planning and Development Department will make development plans and plats submitted after June 1 for Planning Commission and City Council consideration available to the public in electronic format.

Those interested in receiving an electronic copy should contact the department at 513-2846 and provide a case number, project location and e-mail address.

The department is working on a process to provide a link to the plats/plans on the city’s Web site. This effort will assist city staff in its review of projects, as well as contribute to the city’s greening efforts by reducing the need for the public to make hard copies of plats/plans and reducing vehicle trips to City Hall.

For more information, call 513-2846.
